Blog Post One: What’s the point?
The aim of this blog is to act as a record of progress with various projects that I’m currently working on. This will let readers gain an understanding of the process and the work involved, as well as see the development of my skills as well as pieces from start to finish. I expect that the style will be quite informal and may change over time as I work out how best to use it and how it’s received. As I’m away from the workshop at the moment, I can’t post many pictures with this post but here’s a list of things sitting in my head that are underway!
Jewellery: various small bits of broken crockery that are being lacquered and dusted to make into necklaces, earrings and broaches.
Denby Greenwheat bowl C.1956: finished except for photography

Thornton’s Special Toffee Dish: needs to be heated and disassembled
