Chips:

Depending on the chip, its size, the complexity of the shape, and the metal used to finish the piece, a chip can cost as little as £40 to repair.

Cracks and breaks:

Unfortunately it’s not possible to give a standardised guide to pricing for a repair as it depends greatly on the extent of the damage, the quality of the materials that the piece is made from, the techniques used to repair, and the materials used to finish it. In general however, repair quotes are provided using the length of the crack as a basis for the time required to complete the work and factors like a traditional vs modern repair and the finish (brass, aluminium, silver, gold, etc) will impact on the price.
