Ceramic Shard Flower Earrings - Brass

£25.00

A set of earrings inspired by Kintsugi made from a shard of broken pottery using traditional techniques to cover the rough edges of the break. The piece has been painted with layers of urushi lacquer before dusting with finely ground Japanese brass to finish. The shards have been fixed to Stainless Steel posts.

We import our metal powders and lacquer from specialist producers in Japan to ensure that they are of the highest quality and provide a finish that will last and celebrate the story of the item.

This is a unique piece, created by hand in Scotland.

Cleaning

The piece can be cleaned with a dry fresh cloth to remove dust, or warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Abrasive scourers or sponges may damage the finish and are not recommended. After washing, it should be dried immediately to avoid brass tarnishing.
